ArabicNLP 2026 accepts long papers (up to 8 pages), short papers (up to 4 pages), and demo papers (up to 4 pages). Long and short papers will be presented orally or as posters as determined by the program committee; presentation mode does not reflect the quality of the work.
Theme: Towards Inclusive Arabic NLP
Submissions may include work in progress or completed research. Submissions must have a clear focus on Arabic (standard, dialectal, classical, or mixed). We also welcome work on Semitic languages or Arabic-script languages that share challenges with Arabic NLP, and descriptions of commercial systems (with willingness to discuss technical details). Work using Arabic resources for other languages is also encouraged.
We welcome submissions on topics including (but not limited to):
Core Arabic NLP: segmentation/tokenization, morphological & morphosyntactic analysis/disambiguation, POS tagging, NER, parsing, SRL, text classification (e.g., sentiment, offensiveness/hate speech), etc.
Machine learning for Arabic: modeling and systems for generative/discriminative approaches, domain adaptation, transfer learning, multilingual/multidialectal learning, evaluation methodology.
Arabic Large Language Models: pretraining, instruction tuning, alignment, benchmarking, robustness, fairness, culturally grounded evaluation.
Applications: MT, summarization, dialogue, creative generation/analysis, ASR/TTS, OCR, educational and assistive technologies, social media analytics.
Resources & infrastructure: corpora, lexicons/dictionaries, annotation guidelines, benchmarks, tools supporting Arabic NLP research and deployment.
ArabicNLP typically hosts shared tasks to engage the community; a separate Call for Shared Task Proposals will be issued, and selected tasks will run as part of the event.

ArabicNLP 2026 invites long (up to 8 pages), short (up to 4 pages), and demo papers (up to 4 pages) submissions. Bibliographic references do not contribute to page length limits. Long and short papers will be presented orally or as posters, as determined by the program committee; presentation mode does not reflect the quality of the work.
Paper submissions must use the official ACL style templates, which are available here (Latex). Please follow the paper formatting guidelines, general to "*ACL" conferences available here. Authors may not modify these style files or use templates designed for other conferences.
No PDF required for abstract submission.
Submissions are editable (including authorship) until the deadline.
